Our Trip to Haiti
We led trainings, learned a lot ourselves, and fell in love with a country and her people


Our team of mental health professionals went to Haiti in March of 2011 where we trained 60 teens and adults to become CIRCLES group facilitators.  As a result of our first training trip, 150-200 children attend weekly CIRCLES groups in earthquake ravaged Port-au-Prince.

CIRCLES Project
 Empowering teens:
Supporting Children
We developed the CIRCLES Project in response to the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. CIRCLES groups support children with loss, trauma, and hardship associated with the earthquake as well as the harsh realities that so many children in Haiti experience every day.

We partner with organizations who will provide CIRCLES groups within their program. We provide full-day facilitator trainings, a large kit of supplies and toys, training and activities manuals, and ongoing support.  We also assist organizations with CIRCLES program implementation and ongoing support for long term sustainability.
